What I Ate While Camping in the Gobi Desert

Not much to be honest. Though Becca and I loaded up the camel with the dried fruits and nuts we purchased at the night market, we were too engrossed in the fact that we were camping in the sand dunes to even eat.

Thankfully our tour guide provided instant ramen for dinner and bread and coffee for breakfast.

Horrible photo of dinner – but you get the idea. Note: it’s practically impossible to take a decent photo when it’s pitch black.

Our breakfast. Coffee and bread.

By the way, everyone should really consider visiting Dunhuang. Camels are adorable and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
