This event is full. If you couldn’t make it, I’m doing another one in January: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/four-tastes-of-china-tickets-9772595095
I’m leading a food tour on Saturday, December 21 from 10:15am-4pm. We will meet at Focus Plaza (140 W Valley Blvd, #180) in front of the store Amore at 10:15am and I will provide the transportation. We’ll be going to four of my favorite restaurants + a boba stop. (Note: none of these restaurants are sponsoring this food tour so these are genuinely my picks.)
The itinerary + my corresponding articles I’ve written:
Chengdu Taste: Hottest Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles right now. Sichuan food. Spice lovers only!
BeBe Fusion: Stinky tofu French fries. The stinkiest of all of L.A.. (And I’ve sampled 90% of them)
Wang Xing Ji: Large, massive soup dumplings from the Jiangsu Province.
Shaanxi Gourmet: Xi’an comfort food. Paomo and hand-pulled noodles.
The fee is $65 per person and that includes all the food + historical background + transportation. I’ve been known to stuff my groups with a lot of food, so be ready. It’ll be an educational event on the different styles of cooking in Los Angeles and I’ll also be taking everyone to my favorite bread shop for take-homes afterwards, but you’re on your own money-wise on that one.
I can accommodate EIGHT people, though if I get someone to volunteer to drive a second car, I can do nine people.
Refund policy: Cancellations HAVE to be made 48 hours ahead of time, or else the fee is non-refuandale. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Here’s a complete schedule of upcoming food tours.
